After almost 3 weeks “In Review”, Folder Sync Version 2.4.0 has now been approved by Apple and is available on the Mac App Store.
The main improvements are
- Sync Both Ways functionality added
- Users can now edit the actions for all Sync Types
- Context sensitive Syncs added to enable targeted syncs on just a selected folder and its descendants
The next most popular request on the TODO list is to be able to import settings from Folder Sync version 1. Apple’s mandatory Security Sandbox has made this difficult but we are making progress in that area and those improvements are coming in version 2.5 which is on target for a January 2019 release.
